Filming my preliminary task

I Filmed my plominary task today which was difficult as both of the other members of my group were away but as we were a bit behind i took it upon myself to film alone, i started by explaining  to my actors their rolls and then set up the camera. After setting the camera up i first filmed the first part to my film which took place outdoors, it was neccesary that i filmed four or five takes of this part of the film as experimented as to what direction my actor would come from and the speed she was walking etc so i had more options when it came to editing 

When i filmed the inside bit it proved to be a little bit more challenging as there were people working that weren't part of the film and it took a few takes to get a good number of quality takes as people walked across the camera by accident. After  having some trouble with the fire wire I loaded all my footage on the computer and i look forward to editing later on in the week.

The things that I feel that i could have done better are, explained more clearly to my actors exactly what i wanted from them and i also feel i could have been more orgonised in preperation and filming of the ploinary task.
